If you want to ride a Fox in Ride A Pet, the collected sources point to egg hatching as the route. Pets come from hatching eggs collected around the map, and IGN says any pet has a chance to hatch from the available eggs depending on luck. No collected source demonstrates a guaranteed Fox egg or a Fox hatch rate.

One Fox-specific walkthrough says the player picks up a Glass Egg near a tower, but the hatch shown in that same video produces a Horse rather than a Fox. That video also identifies Fox as the next pet needed for the player’s second rebirth after obtaining a Horse; because it is dated, verify the current rebirth menu before acting on it.

How Fox Enters Your Roster

IGN says the farm’s base luck and each egg’s luck both affect pet hatch outcomes, and base luck can be upgraded with money. That makes base progression and egg quality part of the same Fox hunt: better luck improves the chance of rare hatches from whatever eggs you bring back.

Because IGN says available eggs can hatch different pets according to luck, a single egg type should not be described as an exclusive Fox source. The Glass Egg route from the walkthrough is an observed attempt in that video, not proof of a guaranteed Fox hatch.

Pets can be mounted to cross the map faster and reach eggs farther from the player’s base. IGN’s egg guide says the better eggs sit farther from your base, and you need a fast pet to make it back before the egg breaks.

GameBoost’s September 22 stat guide lists Fox at 19.5K base speed, below Giraffe at 27.4K and above Ostrich at 6.96K. Fox also appears at No. 9 in that guide’s top 10 fastest pets.

Jump is a separate pet stat from speed. GameBoost notes that a pet with lower speed can still be useful for reaching ledges, so a Fox’s mount value is not only its speed line.

Fox as a Farm Pet

Pets placed at the farm or ranch earn cash while the player travels elsewhere. A pet’s travel speed and base income are separate stats, so the best mount need not be the best cash earner.
